Fortino Napoleanico
The Fortino Napoleanico is the location of the reception, and the hotel where the bride and groom are staying. The entire hotel has been blocked for the convenience of our wedding guests.
Located on the beach in the Rivera Del Conero, this hotel was previously a military fortress. The hotel has its own private beach, with a view of the Sea and close access to mountain trails.
Seebay Hotel Portonovo
The Seebay Hotel Portonovo is just a few minute walk from the reception location.
There are more room options at this hotel, in addition to spa and pool amenities.
Our Story
Maria was on her way to Burnham Harbor to meet friends on a picturesque, sun-filled Chicago afternoon. When her driver pulled into the entrance, he recklessly drove across the Lakeshore bike path, placing any high speed bicyclist into immediate peril. Of course riding at an elite training pace, Brandon was just able to avoid crashing into the side of Maria’s door and continued his ride through Chicago’s parks - but the near calamity prompted further communication between the two. Neither Maria or Brandon knew at the time that this careless driver had just bridged a connection that would lead to their lifelong unity in marriage together.
Overstated memories of city congestion aside, Maria and Brandon's parents had been work colleagues and lifelong friends before either were even born. The connection between their families, dozens of friends, a near collision, and the many forces of nature - would lead them to the realization that perhaps fate is not just reserved for fiction and philosophy.
We know that this trip is a big commitment and a lot to ask. We are honored to share and celebrate our wedding festivities with each of you - and know whether you are able to make it or not - you each played a part in shaping who we are and will continue to share in our love together as a married couple. We hope this website will help guide you to make the right decision and join us for a week of travel, vacation, and celebration in Italy!

“The best is yet to come and won’t that be fine.”
